A young friend of mine struggled with issues of intimacy, especially as it relates to Christians, and they asked me for my views on the whole realm of right Christian dating behavior.
Well, I told her that Christians absolutely the same right as any other day, but we live by a different set of standards - the Word of God - and we are bound by the rules. That having been said, it does not mean that Christians can never hold hands or embrace,or kiss even when off - but it does mean that a sense of decency should be maintained at all times.
This means renouncing sex during the advertising period or a relationship. Pardon my directness, but that's really the bottom line in the right Christian behavior. Physical intimacy is for marriage.
It is permissible to hold hands, to kiss her too, but as a Christian, your goal should be to maintain purity in your relationship. InHow to bring a gift of purity to your spouse and to God, if marriage is the result of your relationship.
If you feel that you can not maintain proper Christian from physical limitations, you should have the assistance of a mentor, can be a prayer partner to pray with you and to God's wisdom and guidance in these times when the temptation is too great looking, too.
Ultimately, the responsibility for proper Christian behavior is dating the two of you. But it is alsohelps if your parents on appropriate behavior modeled in your upbringing, and you have learned to grow the concept of purity, as you do. A good foundation of purity go a long way.
Something that I found helpful was the youth in our community. Our children learn the right Christian dating behavior not only at home but in the definition of youth activities. The youth are couples, the divine and the relationship with the young people strictly to help them to seeWisdom of purity and restraint in dating. This is a true blessing for our family, and I recommend that anyone with young children helping in the search for a church youth group with a strong and Godly leaders to the moral education the children lead. As parents, we need all the help we can get!
